Analysis of psychological and educational programs for violence preventing in foreign schools

Violation of family relations' harmony as a factor of deviation of child's development. The article is devoted to the problem of formation of child's personality in family according to the degree of relation's harmony in it. A social situation of child's development in the case of violationof relation’s harmony in family system is analyzed. It is shown that the absence of relation's harmony leads to the impossibility of satisfaction of child's basic social needs. If basic social needs are not satisfied, then a child experiences emotional pain, feeling of powerlessness, defenselessness. Living in such emotional condition is dangerous. So long remaining in such psychotraumatic situation without deformation of personal development's process is impossible. The mechanisms of psychological protection work out so, that negative feelings are driven inside. Naturally it occurs subconsciously. With age as the child grows older he/she just forgets about psychotraumatic situations. However, experienced feelings don’t disappear, they are postponed in subconscious and produce «the sites of pain». In the future new similar impressions lay over these «sites of pain» and this causes personality distortions.

The absence of harmonious relationships in the family causes child's controversial attitude to his/her parents, which keeps the child in constant stress. It leads to negative consequences. Types of distortions in personal development depend on the fact what basic social needs were not satisfied in childhood. Personal development can occur in such directions: 1) the emergence of egocentrism, when a child perceives other peoples as a tool (or an obstacle) for achieving his/her goals. The child begins to be fond of only himself (compensational egoism), loses confidence in people, ability to sympathy, sincerity; doesn’t learn to help people and cannot ask for help; 2) rejection of “Ego image”, when a child devalues himself, feels himself unable to do anything, unnecessary to anyone and lives with feeling of emptiness in the heart, which continues to be the reason of addictive behavior; 3) formation of hypersociality (perfectionism), when a person all his life tries to prove that he is worth of respect, and therefore makes an overpower in professional growth, or in accumulation of material goods, or in trying to please everybody.

Key words: harmony, relationships, family, personality, needs, child, deviation, development, mechanism

Scientific views on the phenomenon of the I-concept of personality in psychological literature

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the I-concept as a psychological phenomenon, which is a dynamic system of human ideas about himself. «I-concept» is formed under the influence of each individual's own experience. In general, the system itself forms the basis of the highest I-regulation of man, on the basis of which it builds its relations with the world that surrounds it.

A theoretical review of the historical development of the I-concept as a psychological phenomenon from the scientific activities of various researchers in this area (R. Burns, W. James, A. Maslow, K. Rogers, etc.) is offered. It is noted that in the psychological literature there is no unified approach to the interpretation of concepts that describe the I-concept and its determinants, it causes difficulties in the theoretical analysis of this phenomenon. The basis for understanding the concept of «I-concept» is laid in the direction of humanistic psychology, whose representatives (R. Burns, A. Maslow, K. Rogers and others) sought to consider the holistic «I» and its personal I-determination in the social environment.

The structural components of the I-concept of personality, such as «the cognitive component (I-image), emotional-evaluative (I-attitude) and behavioral (I-act)», are theoretically substantiated.

The leading approaches to the study of the I-concept in modern psychology, according to I. A. Druzhninoya, are highlighted, including genetic modeling (V. V. Klimenko, S. D. Maksimenko, A. V. Tolstoukhov, etc.); psychoanalytic (A. Wertman, E. Erickson, J. Marcia, Freud, etc.) interactive (E. Goffman, R. Jenkins, J. Mead, R. Fogelson, etc.); structural-dynamic (E. P. Belinskaya, N. I. Borishevsky, J. P. Vernaya, T. V. Govorun and others) cognitive (G. Breykuell, G. Tajfel, J. Turner and others) narrative ( K. Jerjen, A. Giddens, L. Hagendorn and others.) Transpersonal (S. Groff, K. Groff, A. Mindell, etc.) integrative (V. V. Kozlov, V. Wilberg).

It was found that the I-concept is a phenomenological concept of personality, which is formed individually and procedurally in ontogenesis in accordance with personal life experience. Complex formations of consciousness and I-consciousness of the individual internalize I-analysis, I-esteem, I-acceptance and I-perception during the life path of the individual.

Key words: I-concept, I-concept of personality, personal I-determination, I-esteem, I-realization, I-attitude, I-awareness
