Levels of development of organizational culture of non-school educational institutions: links with managers' administrative work characteristics
On the basis of empirical research the authors analyze the levels of the main characteristics of managers' administrative work in non-school educational institutions (competence, emotionality, exactingness and fairness). It was shown that non-school educational institutions had different types of organizational culture (power, role, task and person cultures), both in the real and ideal forms. The staff of non-school educational institutions were found to orient to the ""progressive"" types of organizational culture (person and task cultures). Certain types of non-school educational institutions' organizational culture were found to have statistically significant relationship with the levels of the main characteristics of managers' administrative work: a) all characteristics of administrative work (competence, emotionality, exactingness) had statistically significant links with two ""extreme"" types of organizational culture of non-school educational institutions - they positively affected the levels of person culture (a progressive culture) and negatively affected the levels of power culture (a conservative culture); b) managers' emotionality had a positive impact on the levels of task culture (a progressive culture). However, no statistically significant relationships were found between the main characteristics of managers' administrative work in non-school educational institutions and role culture, which, probably, suggests that role culture has a ""special"" status. Keywords: non-school educational institutions; characteristics of managerial work; organizational culture; types of organizational culture; development of organizational culture of non-school educational institutions.

The impact of organizational factors on educational institution staff's tolerance level
The article describes the levels of the main types of secondary school teachers' tolerance (ethnic tolerance, social tolerance and tolerance as a personality trait) and tolerance index. Certain types of teachers' tolerance and tolerance index have been found to be the most common, which creates good opportunities for tolerance development. The author analyzes the relationship between teachers' tolerance and some organizational factors (organization's size, age and location). It was shown that small educational institutions had higher levels of teachers' social and ethnic tolerance than large educational organizations. The older the organization, the lower were teachers' tolerance index and tolerance as a personality trait. It was found that the level of teachers' tolerance as a personality trait and tolerance index were higher in rural schools than in urban schools. The author also discusses the cumulative effect of several organizational factors on teachers' tolerance as a personality trait and tolerance index. The findings can be used to create a system of psychological support for secondary school staff's tolerance development. Keywords: tolerance, tolerance types, tolerance index, organizational factors, cumulative effect of factors, staff of educational institutions.

Social-psychological support for schoolchildren’s economic socialization: from traditions to creativity
The author considers social-psychological support for economic socialization of schoolchildren from the perspectives of two methodologies that are most commonly used for understanding of socialization. The traditional deterministic approach treats social-psychological support for economic socialization as a system of socio-psychological methods and means to influence schoolchildren to typify their economic and psychological qualities in line with the socio-economic conditions and requirements. The social-psychological support for schoolchildren's economic socialization is presented as a system of accurately controlled and targeted actions of the leading agents of socialization (teachers, parents, peers) as the main subjects of formation of schoolchildren's economic and psychological characteristics. In terms of the constructivist methodology, the social-psychological support for the economic socialization of schoolchildren is a system of methods, techniques and forms of schoolchildren's continuous use of various, socially and individually acceptable ways of appropriation and economic benefit reaping in the social and psychological space of economic activities. Development of the economic subjectivity of the participants of inter-subjective interactions (teachers, psychologists, parents, schoolchildren) is accomplished and becomes complicated in the course of their economic practicing from the background to the creative practices of economic benefits appropriation. Keywords: social-psychological support for economic socialization, schoolchildren, determinism, constructivism, social and psychological space, economic socialization, economic culture of the individual, entity, economic subjectivity.

Theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of economic socialization of children in low-income families
The article discusses the basic theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of economic socialization of children in low-income families. The authors consider the socializing effect of family relations on the development of economic culture of children from the perspectives of cultural activity, structural-functional and subject-activity approaches and inter-subjective paradigm. For children, family relations are a sort of value matrix of attitudes to the economy, themselves and others as subjects of material and spiritual appropriation of economic benefits, that forms in their mind a generalized image of an economic human and forms the core of economic views and perceptions about family, themselves and others in relation to the attribution of economic benefits. The economic culture of the family influences children‘s choices of the strategies and techniques of economic benefits handling, which have been most frequently used by their parents. Psychologically the low-income family status is considered as the family‘s awareness of their financial insolvency. The low-income families‘ economic culture is characterized by their strong orientations to a good education, an interesting and prestigious job, good family relationships, professionalism and sense of duty along with poor orientations to a change in their social class, to power, popularity and status, achievement, personal success, opportunities for self-realization. Besides, the low-income families have negative expectations, pessimism, low level of assertiveness, fear of the new, mistrust to others and to themselves, and the feeling of doom and fatalism. It is noted that the economic socialization of children in low-income families is fraught with dysfunctions and can lead to special effects which will be investigated in the follow-up search. Keywords: economic socialization, subject, low-income family, culture of poverty, poverty, low-income status, financial self-sufficiency, individual property.

Сonceptual basis for studying monetary socialization
The article deals with the problem of research into conceptual basis for monetary socialization, which is of particular relevance both in the theoretical and practical aspects in terms of socio-economic changes that have been taking place in Ukrainian society. Having analyzed the relevant scientific literature, the author discusses the social and psychological role of money in monetary socialization emphasizing a significant social role of money in society and describing the social values of money. Due to different scientific ideas it becomes possible for researchers to determine the basis for the formation of monetary socialization. It is noted that understanding of monetary socialization requires prior historical analysis of earlier research on money including the constructive analysis of the social nature of money found in the works of M.Weber, H.Hehel, K.Marx, H.Zimmel, T.Parsons, M.Tuhan-Baranovsky et al. Another important prerequisite for the development of a scientific theory of monetary socialization were studies on money in the classic areas of psychology. It is concluded that the basic theories of money have played a significant role in the development of the theory of monetary socialization because they treated money as an independent research object. Money, being a complex and multi-functional phenomenon, requires further study that will reveal the role of monetary relations in any society. Keywords: money, value, monetary socialization, functions of money, psychology of money, money relations, theories of money, social interaction.

Life practices as an institution of economic socialization
The article analyzes the content and characteristics of social and psychological life practices as an institution of economic socialization. Life practices are seen as an area of interconnected social and individual aspects, as a form of life and traditional behaviors that perform regulatory functions, synthesize experience, the visual perception and the perception of actual individual life situations as well as promote self-identify. The author discusses the main features of life practices and four levels of economic forms of socialization that provide economic socialization of the individual at different age stages (primary, adolescent, professional and mature economic socialization stages). At each level an individual is engaged into the communicative practices (monologic, dialogic), gradually moving from lower to higher levels, whereby he / she develops the ability to organize communication connections and communication practices with different subjects of communication, thus mastering the technology of verbal and nonverbal communication and different social roles in the economy. Life practices accumulate knowledge, skills, regulations and collective norms that individuals assimilate daily and inconspicuously. Certain behaviors and specific individual acts will become life practices, if only they have the signs of recurrence, collectivity and community. In a modern society they have to become naturally regular and habitual for certain communities. Keywords: economic socialization, personality, life experience, characteristics and levels of life practices

Features of young scientists' economic socialization: the affective aspect
The article deals with young scientists' attitudes to intellectual labor in a developing creative economy. The author analyzes the concept of ""young scientist"" and the research work of young scientists. The system of individual attitudes to economic phenomena (including intellectual property) is considered as a form of interiorized values of economic institutions that represent meaningful relationships between individuals and the surrounding economic reality. The young scientists' economic socialization is shown to include the cognitive, affective and conative components. The author dwells upon the features of the affective component of young scientists' attitudes to the results of their intellectual work. The investigation found that young scientists perceived their intellectual work mainly controversially. They did not associate their scientific ideas with the idea of making money and material benefits and did not view their research work to be proud of and giving them a sense of security. However, the overwhelming majority of the respondents noted that their scientific ideas gave them quite positive feelings due to a hope for future welfare and a power over some people. Keywords: economic socialization, personality of a young scientist, affective component of economic socialization, young scientist, intellectual property, attitude to intellectual labor

Motivation for child adoption or foster parenting as a predictor of their success
This article deals with the motivation forchild adoption and foster parenthood. Motivation is considered as a predictor ofsuccessfulchild adoption / foster parenting which implies respect for the child's identity and agreement between adults‘ caring fornon-blood children in the replacement families and adults‘ expectations. This process is shown to be two-fold: the adults seek to satisfy the child‘sneeds and their own needs of parenthood, while the child seeks to satisfy his / her needs for care, growth and protection. The motivation for adoption and foster parenting is a one of the main child adoption success factors. Whatever the type of replacement care of the child (foster family or adoptive family), the motivation forchild adoption is usually difficult to understand. Its realization involves serious work with specialists. With some reservations, adoption motives can be divided into constructive and destructive ones. The destructive motivation acts as an obstacle in preserving the child‘s identity and developing his / her personal life. The authors argue that a psychologist‘s work with replacement parenthood candidates can differ according to the type. Conservation of genetic memory of the child is an important aspect of psychologists‘work, whichincase of adoption aims at strengthening the processes of child‘s assimilation, and in case of foster parentingaims at slowing down these processes. Adults‘adoption preparation training program is considered a good practice. The program aims atteaching adultsto use self-analysisfor getting aware of their own and their children‘s needs, values and expectations in relation to individual and family development. Self-help groups as a source for social and psychological support for people with mental health problems
The social and psychological support for people with mental health problems is an important research area in social psychology and social work. Its importance is also due to the fact that it is impossible to solve the problems of people with mental health problems using only medical means. The analysis of scientific literature found that there is an urgent need for a scientific description of social and psychological support from self-help groups of people with mental health problems. The article analyzes different scientific approaches to studying the place and role of self-help groups in social and psychological support for people with mental health problems. The author discusses the legal documents and academic sources on support for people with mental health problems and different approaches to the understanding of their support in self-help groups. Self-help groups are a source of support in addition to the support from professionals and relatives. The term 'self-help group' is used to refer to a temporary association of people to resolve or ease their problems based on the idea of mutual support. There are several theories that explain the mechanisms of self-help groups. One theory is based on the principle of equal reciprocity and support from the vulnerable for the vulnerable which maintains the equality of all group-members. Another theory is based on the assumption that assistance-givers get moral satisfaction from their help to others. There is a theory that uses the idea of 'empirical knowledge' that is crucial to the existence of mutual assistance groups. The fourth theory supports the idea that all group-members have their own views of self-help in the group which allows the group-members to save their dignity better than using professionals' help. The social learning theory focuses on the group members whose successful experience of survival may serve a good example for the rest of the group-members. Keywords: self-help groups, social support, people with mental health problems

Selfie as a social-psychological phenomenon
The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of scientific literature on visual representations of man, in particular the selfie as a contemporary mass culture phenomenon from the perspective of social psychology. The author examines the origins of the phenomenon and its wide spreading due to the development of digital technologies and telecommunication systems in the XXI century. Particular attention is paid to comparison of the concepts of 'selfie' and 'self-portrait'. It is noted that self-images bring the photographers to their subjectively ideal images. They present themselves in the most favorable way choosing the best, in their opinion, picture for the self-presentation to others. Thus,a selfie is a form of demonstration of a generalized image of self to the surrounding world. The author emphasizes the photographers' desire to display themselves 'here and now' bringing to the viewer a certain moment of their life and their attitudes to it, for which a visual image is much better than a text. At the same time equally important for the photographers is positive feedback from viewers as an element of external psychological stimulation. The article also discusses the types of selfie, the negative consequences of preoccupation with it as well as the trends in its use in various fields of life. Research into the forms of self-presentation by means of digital and telecommunication equipment fixes various trends in modern society development. Visualization becomes an important phenomenon of man's social construction of the world, a generator of social practices and an important element of social and cultural identity. Keywords: self-portrait, visualization, appearance, communication, self-presentation, selfie, self-identity, subject

Restoring of clients’ personal resources in crisis situations by means of Gestalt therapy
The article discusses the principles of dialogical and phenomenological approach in solving problems of individuals in crisis situations. The author analyzes the methods of Gestalt therapy to overcome the consequences of psychological trauma, the activation of individual self-determination by means of Gestalt therapy, as well as the role of personal life perspectives in recovering personal resources and overcoming the consequences of psychological trauma. The author gives an example of psychotherapeutic strategies to deal with the problems of psychosocial traumatization of forced migrants‘ families, describes the stages of the dialogue between a therapist and a client in Gestalt therapy and the accents in psychotherapy of feelings. From the position of Gestalt approach the content of dialogue is secondary to the quality of psychological presence and, as a consequence, to feelings. Of importance are the emotions behind the words in the dialogue, rather than the words themselves. The dialogue participants undergo changes in the process of discussion due to their being sensual, conscious, free to make life choices, rather than due to the discussion themes and discoveries. The quality of psychological presence, openness and vitality of the dialogue participants becomes the main thing. The author also analyzes the components of a cycle-contact in the dialog-phenomenological therapy, methods of individual and group work in Gestalt therapy as well as the peculiarities of Gestalt therapy in working with personal crises (empathic assumption, message paraphrasing, story making in fairy tale therapy). Keywords: Gestalt approach, self-determination, psychosocial trauma, Gestalt therapy, therapeutic strategies

Gender-relevant and cultural differences in role models of self-presentation
The article discusses the reasons for the separation of behavioral model roles as part of individuals' self-presentation. The role models are defined as forms of individual experience learned during the primary socialization by which individuals can structure their experience of social interactions and define their personal limits. The basic role models have been determined in terms of positive psychotherapy by N.Pezeshkian according to which the role models are the structural elements of personal self-presentation. The author analyzes the theoretical principles of role behaviors in general and individual role models in particular. The role models differ from role scenarios in individuals' greater awareness about their integration into self-presentation. Empirical research found gender and cultural differences in the basic role models. The basic role models were found to include 'I am a mother', 'I am a father', 'We', 'You' and 'Pra-we' models. Each model reflects the respondents' perception of parents' attitudes to the respondents, parents' attitudes to themselves, society and beliefs. To study the integration of role models the author used the Wiesbaden questionnaire along with the N. Pezeshkian WIPPF. The results were compared with the 16PF scales. The role models were shown to differ in the levels of model adoption and its integration into self-presentation. Keywords: self-presentation, basic role models, gender differences, socio-cultural characteristics, models of self-presentation, role interactions

Socio-demographic factors in subjective social well-being
The article presents the results of research on the effects of socio-demographic characteristics (age, sex, education level, marital status, children) on subjective social well-being which is defined as an individual experience (perception and evaluation) of positive social functioning that reflects the degree of satisfaction of social needs and expectations. The author used a specially designed technique to measure five components of subjective social well-being: social visibility, social acceptance, good relationships with family, social distancing and positive social beliefs. The investigation done on a sample of 401 persons (early, middle and late adulthood) found that the cumulative effect of objective characteristics of the social situation compared to the subjective psychological factors was rather small (8.8%). The socio-demographic factors contributed to the weight of certain components of the respondents' subjective social well-being. Social distancing associated with the respondents' place of residence (it was lower in the regional centers and towns that were not district centers) and marital status (lower in those who were in the first or civil marriage, and higher in the divorced or widows / widowers). Increased social visibility was observed in individuals with higher education, whereas positive social beliefs were higher in parents of two children compared with one-child or childless parents. The greatest impact on the respondents' assessment of their social functioning as optimal was made by the cumulative effect of the objective factors: a broad social network, education and age. Thus, subjective social well-being was higher in young people with higher education and extensive contact groups. Keywords: subjective social well-being, subjective well-being, hedonistic approach, social network, social cohesion, social visibility, social distancing

Features of social workers’ emotional states in their professional interactions
The article deals with the impact of social workers' emotional states on their interactions with customers. The authors examine the features of emotional states of social workers from the perspective of self-consciousness and via the separation-identification mechanism. This mechanism reveals the essence of opposing and conflicting aspects of self-consciousness of individuals engaged in professional communication, particularly between the need to meet customers' expectations and the need to defend their own professional position. It is noted that customers' negative emotional states (frustration, despair, apathy, fear, depression, anxiety, loneliness, hopelessness, etc.) may trigger social workers' own negative emotions. Interacting with customers and helping them overcome difficult situations, social workers themselves may experience difficulties. The authors used the content analysis of the respondents' essays 'What problem situation in my work experience I remember best' with 56,023 judgments. It was found that negative emotions often caused difficulties in social workers' adaptation to the elderly, disabled, children, unemployed and ex-prisoners. Content analysis of the texts showed that the most emotionally-coloured situations experienced by social workers associated with the psychological difficulties caused by their interactions with customers. Negative emotional states (frustration, tension, emotional weakness, uncertainty, confusion, etc.) caused by difficult interactions with customers (the elderly, unemployed, disabled, ex-prisoners) created a number of professional, personal and interpersonal problems. Negative emotional states, which were understood by social workers as the signs of their own psychological and professional inadequacy, were accompanied by identity disorders and negative elements of self-identity. Keywords: social workers, emotional states, professional interaction, difficult situation, reflexive method, emotional profile

Implementation of the 'Psychological Treatment of Subjective Feeling of Loneliness As a Factor in Addictive Behaviors of Younger Teenagers' Program and its effectiveness
The author presents research results that confirm the assumption of the presence of statistically significant relationships between loneliness and addictive behaviors in early adolescence. It was found that in early adolescence the inability to establish emotional and social contacts (all factors in a way associated with the ability to build relations) was a cause of addictive behavioral patterns. The author experimentally proved the possibility of overcoming the subjective feelings of loneliness and preventing the development of addictive behaviors in younger teens. Addictive behaviors as well as the feelings of loneliness were shown to be determined by such factors as social helplessness, alienation, communication barriers, inadequate values and interests, which were taken into account when designing the Program. After being tested and improved, the Program showed its effectiveness in secondary schools. This suggests that responsible and scientifically based practical work with younger teenagers in schools can help overcome their subjective feelings of loneliness, thus preventing the development of their addictive behaviors. In order to make school psychologists' work with younger adolescents more effective, the author recommends the 'Psychological Treatment of Subjective Feeling of Loneliness as a Factor in Addictive Behaviors of Younger Teenagers' Program that proved effective in the experiment. Keywords: loneliness, adolescents, addiction, intervention, behavior

Educational and informational approaches to definition of teachers' social intelligence
The article deals with the concept of 'intelligence' as a system of mental mechanisms that allow an individual to construct a subjective world view. The author outlines the nature and content of the categorical approaches to the definition of 'social intelligence', in particular the educational and informational approaches. The author presents his concept of social intelligence that suggests that social intelligence includes cognitive, mnemonic and empathic components. It is noted that the cognitive component of social intelligence is made up of a set of fairly stable knowledge, ratings and rules of interpretation of events, human behaviors and relationships, etc. based on the existing system of interpretations at micro and macro levels. The article stresses that the mnemonic component of teachers' social intelligence characterizes their ability to interpret events, other people's and their own behaviors. The mnemonic component is based on the personal experience of the individual with their interpretative complex. The nature and content of the empathic component of teachers' social intelligence is largely dependent on the behaviors the teachers choose to be of priority, their expectations to be met by the people around, their value interpretative complex in relation to the world, as well as their anticipation mechanisms in solving various problems of professional and social life, etc. Keywords: intellect, social intelligence, educational approach, informational approach, cognitive, mnemonic and empathic components of social intelligence

Social and psychological aspects of teenagers' computer addiction
The article deals with teenagers' computer addiction. This problem is becoming increasingly important due to the growing number of computer and Internet users worldwide. The problem arises from the inability of people, especially children and adolescents, to protect their mental health from outside influence. Recently the focus of researchers in studying the psychological aspects of video game addiction has been focused on the search for the causes and determinants of personal predisposition to video game addiction. Since the end of the twentieth century, some aspects of high school students and young people's gaming have been considered in the context of peoples' pastime and leisure. Internet is a global computer network which brings together computers in a single information system. It has became an integral part of modern society and rapidly spread across education, trade and services creating new forms of communication and learning. The powerful flow of new information, use of computer technologies and spreading of games have a great impact on the education of children and adolescents. Computer addiction, as a psychological addiction, is rapidly spreading across Ukraine. It can be defined as an individual's pathological craving for work and / or time spending with the computer. Due to the fact that computer addiction presents a social danger, the author considers its common forms, risks and negative consequences for teenagers. Analysis of different approaches to the study of addictive behaviors allows concluding that one of the mechanisms of computer addiction is transference of emotional relationships from the living object to the unanimated object. The risk of computer addiction arises in early adolescence that is characterized by teenagers' peculiar reactions. Keywords: computer addiction, game addiction, adolescents, social network, online communication, video games

Psychology of ethno-social distancing of groups in Ukrainian south-east borderlands in the context of safety
The article presents the results of research on social distancing of ATO (anti-terrorist operation) residents and internally displaced persons from certain regions of Ukraine and other countries. Social distance changing is considered in the context of individuals' security perception. The author suggests that during the armed conflicts with the signs of a civil war, the social, cultural, religious, linguistic and other identities are likely to be declarative, while group behaviors are mostly regulated by the levels of security perceived by the group with which the individuals identify themselves. The results of observations and research analysis allow suggesting the existence of a specific borderland ethnic identity and locus of orientation among borderland (border regions) ethnos. Keywords: borderland mentality, social distance, ATO residents, displaced persons, eastern Ukrainian borderlands, southern Ukrainian borderlands

Socialization as inculturation
The article deals with the phenomenon of inculturation. The author analyzes the characteristics of its structural components of inculturation, discusses the links between the concepts of 'acculturation' and 'socialization' and defines the concepts of 'cultural transmission', 'cross-cultural adaptation' and 'acculturation' and their relationships. There are three theoretical approaches to studying inculturation: the first approach, which is based on the theories of social identity, focuses on the perception of self and others; the second approach, whcih is based on the theories of learning, focuses on the process of development of culturally-specific skills that are necessary for survival and success in the new environment; and the third approach, which is associated with psychological models of stress and stress-coping, is used in studying the movements into different cultures and adaptations to them. The author considers inculturation through the prism of the informative characteristics of its cognitive, affective and conatative components. Due to the leading role of the cognitive component, it is concluded that the process of inculturation is largely determined by changes associated with cultural identity that determines the new cultural environment mastering strategy. In line with the configuration of the structural components of inculturation the author determines the types of cross-cultural environment and describes three models of cultural identity change. These include the assimilation model (according to which inculturation implies rejection of the identification with the inherited culture of their nation and the identification with the new culture by assimilating the characteristics, values, attitudes and behaviors of the local population); the bicultural model (according to which the identification with the mother and the new culture is balanced, the old and the cultures do not contradict each other but contribute to the formation of social identity of immigrants and refugees); and the separatism model (which conceptualizes the inherited and new cultures as independent or orthogonal domains). Keywords: socialization, immigration, migrants, inculturation, cultural transmission, acculturation, intercultural adaptation, integration, assimilation, separation, marginalization

Сonditions of and factors in juvenile offenders' psycho-social preparation for prison release
The article deals with juvenile prison inmates' social and psychological preparation for prison release as a system of conditions and factors that contribute to their restoration of positive social relations and development of social skills needed for successful social life. The conditions that increase the effectiveness of the prison release preparation program include the creation of positive supporting environment (to meet the inmates' needs for protection, health preservation, humane treatment, receiving objective and varied information about social events); neutralization of the influence of the criminal subculture; the atmosphere of trust, sincerity, care and respect created by the prison psychologists in interactive relationships with inmates. The factors that positively affect this process comprise the recognition of inmates as the subjects of the active preparatory process, release of inmates' personal potentials, inmates' active participation in correctional and developmental programs, inmates' maintenance of psychological and emotional ties with their families, strong influence of socio-cultural environment, and the development of inmates' social and psychological competence. The leading factor in juvenile prison inmates' social and psychological readiness for prison release is shown to be their socio-psychological competence which, if adequately developed, acts as a basis for building productive relationships with other people and solving life's problems, as well as increases individuals' ability to resist the effects of antisocial groups, thus promoting the effective re-socialization of young people after prison release Keywords: resocialization, social and psychological training, trust, honesty, dialogue, juvenile offenders, social and psychological competence

Conjugation of mental properties in communication manifestations
The author analyzes the importance of communication for individuals' socialization. On a sample of students he experimentally determined the conjugation of their mental properties in the structure of temperament using the V.M. Rusalov technique. Correlation analysis identified gender features in relation to the respondents' inclinations for leadership and dominance, as well as the respondents' inclinations for social passivity in relation to their psychomotor, intellectual, communicative and emotional characteristics. The respondents' communicative characteristics reliably differed in males and females and were mixed in different heterogeneous groups. A group of boys that differed from the average communication manifestations had significantly stronger integral links with the psychomotor, intellectual, communicative and emotional characteristics in relation to the inclinations for leadership and social passivity. The communication manifestations in the group of male students reliably associated with intellectual flexibility, quick establishment of interpersonal contacts and quick intellectual processes. Female students had weaker integrated communication links between the communicative characteristics and the temperament structures compared to male students. The communication manifestations in the group of female students had a tendency to associate with individual characteristics. The author assumes a dominant role of individual traits, habits, aspirations, etc in communication relations. Keywords: socialization, communicative characteristics, inclination for leadership, social passivity, Spearman correlation

The category of mental health in the context of educators' professional activities
Todays' society and education system present new demands for psychological well-being of the individual. Mental health is seen by scientists as a dynamic process of mental activity, which is characterized by determination of mental phenomena, harmonious relationship between the individual's reflection of the real circumstances and his / her attitudes toward them, the adequacy of responses to the surrounding social, biological, psychological and physical conditions that contributes to the individuals' ability to control, plan and build their careers in the micro and macro environments. Achieving the goals of modern education is largely associated with teachers' personal potential which, in turn, is determined by teachers' health. In this regard, maintenance of mental health of the teaching staff of higher educational institutions appears to be of great importance. Educators' professional activities, which are characterized by emotional tension and social responsibility, require great self-control and self-regulation. To be a good teacher, one has to be able to distribute emotional stress. It is necessary to study psychological, psycho-social and personal factors in professional adaptation and employability of teachers, including those factors that directly affect their professional health. Through knowledge and improvement of the mental component of health we have a chance to strengthen and improve the man himself and his health. If a person learns to understand and control their behaviors, emotions, thoughts, they will learn to maintain optimal bodyweight, harmonize family and sexual relations and get out of bad habits. Keywords: mental health, professional activity, stress factors, professional destruction, emotional burnout, personal resource

Social expectations of individuals as a socio-psychological reality regulator
The article analyzes the theoretical and practical bases of social expectations of the individual as a regulator of social and psychological reality. The author discusses the relationship between individuals' social expectations and the structural components of social behavior, such as action, behavioral act, activity and deed as well as considers the formation of individuals' social expectations. It is noted that social expectations can be realized on condition that the object and content of activities are present. It was found that the systems of expectations were not isolated from each other and did not act independently but formed a complex system of individuals' social expectations, the so-called 'individuals' social expectations tree.' The social expectations tree of the individual is a complex branched and hierarchical system of social expectations. The author proved that social expectations object and the object and content of activities were prerequisites for the development and realization of individuals' social expectations and designing a model of the expected future. A permanent and interdependent transformation of social expectations and social norms is a reciprocal process of the regulation of individuals' social behaviors. Keywords: expectations, social expectations of individual, social expectations tree, expectations object, expectations subject, social pressure

The problem of success in life and its components
The problem of success, peoples' attitudes towards their own success and success experiencing are important aspects of the general research problem of personality development. Success experiencing is an entirely subjective phenomenon, which only partly relates to the external social aspects of human life. In the philosophical writings a successful individual is viewed as a personality full of unattainable ideals and having strong desires for self-fulfillment in all spheres of existence (J. Atkinson, D. McClelland, A. Maslow, Yuri Orlov et al.). The models of success have been described in the works of S. Muddy, S. Freud, C. Jung, E. Berne, A. Adler, A. Maslow, F. Perls, J. Kelly, B. Skinner et al.). The theory of success also has been examined by K.O. Abulkhanova (life worlds typology) and S.D. Maksymenko (dynamic personality development) who provided answers to practical questions about the phenomenon of individual success. Different people differently assess external circumstances that affect them, based on their values, expectations and desires to be successful. Success as an internal constructis formed in childhood. It is influenced by parents, school, media and students' likes and dislikes, etc. In order to study the attitudes of secondary school graduates towards their own success the author conducted a survey in secondary school №91 in Kyiv. The authors‘ follow-up work will include fundamental methodological developments and designing practical tools to study the components, formation and development of the successful personality. Keywords: psychological theories of success, individual success, factors in becoming a successful person, level of aspirations

Youth's social activities: main trends and development factors
The article reveals the degree of young people's involvement in social activities. The author analyzes the basic areas of young people's social activities which include science, education, culture, sports, help for ATO participants and refugees, etc. Certain social activities were shown to be of priority for young people, possibly, due to the character of social, political and economic situation in the country and the characteristics of the groups the young people belonged to (their educational and social statuses, etc.). The factors that contribute to the development of youth's social activities in Ukraine in the current socio-economic conditions were found to include the complex socio-economic and political situation in the country, young people's self-realization need, their support by social institutions, available grants for social projects, active work of public organizations, the impact of the media and Internet, etc.). Among these factors the leading role was played by the social, economic and political situation in the country, while the young people's self-realization need played a much smaller role, which suggests that some work has to be done to strengthen it. Among the factors that slow down the development of youth's social activities in Ukraine were the young peoples' lack of necessary psychological qualities, absence of government support, insufficient funding, overload with other responsibilities and duties, etc. The author makes a conclusion that in order to improve the situation both the appropriate social environment (special relevant state policy, high living standards in the country, good living conditions for young families, etc.), and special programs to develop young people's social activity relevant attributes are needed. Keywords: youth, young people's social activities, main areas of youth's social activities, factors in youth's social activities, psychological qualities of socially active young people

Research on content characteristics of professional crisis determination among the unemployed
The article shares the experience of making concepts related to professional crisis in terms of the analysis of the crisis phenomena, professional exclusion situations and unemployment. The concept of professional crisis allows reaching phenomenological representation and reflecting the features of individuals' crisis professiogenesis which is caused primarily by normative and non-normative rationale of contradictory employmentrelationship. The author discusses the content characteristics of professional crisis determination among the unemployed. Using the qualitative analysis of young people's professional exclusion situations as well as the circumstances and events that led to their unemployment, the author identified the professional crisis factors (objective and subjective) and types (normative and non-normative). Having analyzed the respondents' psycho-biographical descriptions and the investigation results, the author suggested the following classification of young peoples' professional crises: profession training crisis, profession choice crisis, professional expectations crisis, career development crisis, non-normative professional development dysfunction crisis. The empirical classification of professional crises and its factors allowed identifying the normative and non-normative types of professional crises among the unemployed. The normative type of professional crises is determined by the profession training crisis, profession choice crisis, professional expectations crisis and career development crisis. The non-normative type of professional crises among the unemployed is determined by the non-normative professional development dysfunction. Keywords: unemployment, personality, unemployed youth, professional crisis, professional crises experiencing, professional crisis factors, professional crisis types

Anxiety as a determinant of creative socialization of individuals
The article deals with anxiety as a determinant of individuals' creative socialization. Based on the analysis of the relevant scientific literature, the author gives the definition of the concept of 'creative socialization' and theoretically proves that the content and structure of creative socialization are based on the interacting processes of socialization and creative thinking and are manifested in individuals' social work, social creativity as the highest form of social activity of the individual or society, creative adaptation as a process of change, restructuring of social situations based on non-protective adaptive mechanisms as well as in individuals' creative socialization being the highest stage of human socialization. It is noted that creative socialization, besides other components, is made up of frustration which is characterized by a number of negative emotional experiences, disappointment, aggression, anger, irritation, despair, anxiety arising in conflict situations. The author describes in detail the constructive and destructive anxiety. It has been shown that the more creative and productive an individual is, the more disturbing situations he / she faces. Moreover, anxiety can either reduce or increase individuals' performance depending on anxiety's strength and individuals' creativity. Highly creative people usually perform intellectual tasks in stress situations better than less creative people. Besides, creative individuals often turn to anxiety in order to achieve good results in the process of creative socialization. The research opens prospects for further study of anxiety as a determinant of individuals' creative socialization at different age stages. Keywords: anxiety, frustration, socialization, creative socialization

Neuropsychological approaches to correcting suicidal behaviors
The author analyzes the existing approaches to correcting suicidal behaviors and presents his own findings. He discusses the neuropsychological aspect of the suicidal process and the neurochemical characteristics of the suicidal brain. Suicidal behaviors have been shown to associate with dysfunctions of neurogenesis. The author describes how cognitive-behavioral therapy works with the body, emotions, cognitive sphere and behavior of the potential suicide. The role of early therapy to overcome the 'pathological homeostasis' in the suicidal brain for the therapeutic process can't be overemphasized. Different meditative techniques, which include concentration, awareness and empathy, have been found to cause physiological changes in the brain. Using a self-managed neuroplastic an individual can overcome pathological homeostasis in the brain. To the author's mind, the therapeutic benefits of meditation techniques compared with pharmacotherapy in treating depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder are evident. The psychodynamics of the suicidal process begins with the activation of the psychotrauma in consciousness, change in the cognitive processes and the formation of stress neural network in the brain. The objectives of the cognitive-conceptual therapy of individuals prone to suicide include creation of the illusion of confidence, development of a resistance to uncertainty; and improvement of the negative information processing through verbal constructions of alternative situations and verbal reassessments of the stimuli. Of special importance is the work with patients' dreams. The author advocates the use of the team model of psychological assistance for would-be suicides due to its consistency and comprehensiveness. Keywords: suicidal behavior, personality, prefrontal cortex, serotonin, depression, neurocorrection

Practical application of the modified projective technique 'Child's Perception of Their Own Life Experience'
The author presents the projective technique 'Child's Perception of Their Own Life Experience' modified by him for psycho-diagnostic work with children exposed to unfavorable conditions of socialization. The results of the pilot and empirical research, allow concluding that in determining the impact of adverse conditions of socialization on the mental development of primary school children, especially educationally neglected children, preference should be given to projective techniques due to their simplicity and not being tiresome. An important component in the diagnosis of changes in the child's personality under the influence of unfavorable conditions of socialization is the child's subjective perception of the situation. The author suggests using the modified projective technique 'Child's Perception of Their Own Life Experience'. as an effective tool in working with children, as it allows psychologists to identify children's perceptions of their own life experiences at the following levels: children's self-perception (children's self-portrait), child - child interaction (children's picture of themselves with peers or friends), child - adult interaction (children's picture of themselves with adult(s)). The use of the modified projective technique 'Child's Perception of Their Own Life Experience' for psychodiagnozing children exposed to unfavorable conditions of socialization provide a holistic vision of causes and effects in problem children's behaviors as well as allow understanding of further assistance for them. Keywords: perception, life experience, projective technique, unfavorable conditions of socialization

The problem of socio-psychological adaptation of the mobilized to military service
The article analyzes different approaches to a theoretical understanding of socio-psychological adaptation (SPA) of the mobilized to military service. This problem is considered important due to the increasing number of ethnic and regional conflicts and the escalated terrorist threat in Ukraine and the world. Academic interest in the mobilized is caused by the role and social significance of the people involved in the protection of state interests and security of Ukraine. High combat and non-combat losses among servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the antiterrorist operation call for research on psychological aspects of military professional adaptation of the mobilized, including the characteristics of their SPA. The author makes a theoretical analysis of the problem of adaptation from different scientific perspectives and reveals the relationship of social adaptation with its other forms, levels and types. SPA is also considered in terms of the theory of Gestalt therapy (F. Perls, P. Goodman), the theory of ""field"" (K. Levin) and other modern scientific schools. It is shown that SPA as a component of social adaptation reflects mutual influence of individuals and their social environment. In the overall structure of adaptation of the mobilized to military service and to the social environment of the military units, SPA affects all areas of a serviceman‘s life. Keywords: personality, social adaptation, socio-psychological adaptation, military professional adaptation, socio-psychological adaptation of the mobilized for military service

Psychological aspects of individuals' adaptation to social components of professional environment
In today's conditions of socio-economic development the problem of individuals' adaptation is of particular relevance. Research on adaptation seeks to identify the factors that promote the most effective forms of adaptation and to find out the social situation elements that have a significant impact on individuals' adaptation. In the process of social and psychological adaptation a worker is included in a collective with peculiar relations, traditions, rules and values. During this adaptation the worker receives information about the system of business and personal relationships in the collective as well as about the formal and informal groups and social positions of group members. Adaptation is not an isolated process, it is associated with human resource management in the organization. Formalized process of adaptation is based on and is an integral part of the organizational management structure as a whole. Adaptation has certain goals and objectives, both in terms of the organization and the worker. Two aspects of adaptation allow not only building mutually beneficial relationships, but also increase the efficiency of organizational management. In other words, the main objective of adaptation in terms of the organization is the most complete, fast and efficient workers' adaptation to the organization. Important factors that improve workers' psychological adaptation to professional groups include social cohesion, good interpersonal relationships, open communication and norms and values shared by the collective members. Keywords: individual's psychological adaptation, professional environment, social behavior, values, social and psychological compatibility, staff's adaptation procedure
